For me, last Christmas never was officially over with until the beginning of June. Thatwas because I was sewing up Christmas quilts for this falls quilt magazines. Well, all that hard work is paying off now. This week three more magazines are showing off all that hard work.
I do love Quilt Magazine, they have such a nice variety of projects and always take superb photographs with fun settings. The Simple Quilts & Sewing magazine is a special issue of Quilt Magazine. These projects are geared for those who want a fast and simple project as well as for those who may just be starting out sewing.
My Christmas Morning quilt uses my Winter Song collection to create a fast and fabulous "plaid" quilt. This quilt has a nice graphic pop and gives a fresh look to the holidays.
On the back cover of the Simple Quilts #122 issue, is an ad for my latest collection, Dilly Day. This collection is due out in December of this year and my Square Dance quilt is featured as the free download project quilt from Fabri-Quilt. These are the fabrics I will be working with this Christmas for quilts you will see next year in the magazines!
As I had mentioned in my post about "What Others are Sewing", Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting Nov/Dec 2011 issue has a on-line bonus quilt of my Snowflake quilt project. The Snowflake quilt also features fabrics from my Winter Song collection.

The Dec/Jan 2012 - yes, I wrote it, 2012 - issue of Quilt Magazine is now on the newsstands. Their "Best of the Season" issue includes my Twinkling Stars centerpiece quilt from my Winter Song collection. This quilt project could be made as a table topper or open up a seam and make it into a Christmas tree skirt. Whichever way you want to use it, it will be a show stopper in your holiday decor.
So, as you can see, I am all set for the holidays! I hope my projects as well as all the other wonderful projects in these magazines will help you to sew up some beautiful holiday treasures for you and your loved ones.
