There’s a new Sharon Holland fabric collection releasing next month! Midsummer will arrive at your favorite quilt shops in June and it’s ready for all your summer sewing.
Midsummer beautifully embodies the season’s charm with delicate florals, drifting dandelions, and gracefully fluttering butterflies. With its soft lavenders, sunny yellows, and rosy hues, Midsummer is an ethereal tribute to all the wonders of summer.
The collection includes 16 quilting cottons (shown above) 2.5 Edition Binding (below), and a lavender flannel in my Tiny Dancer (dandelion) print.
Other exciting news is there’ll be two new quilt patterns releasing featuring Midsummer. One is an exclusive AGF Kit that shops can purchase from Art Gallery Fabrics to offer to their customers so if you’re excited to make the Sew Together quilt, let your local or online shop you buy your AGF fabrics from so they can preorder and stock kits. I’m in the process of making the cover quilt now so more images will be coming soon on this charming 60” x 66” throw quilt. I plan to hand quilt this one to show off my Aurifil thread set that also ships to shops in June. The 10 spool Midsummer Sewing set consists of (5) - 40 weight small spools and (5) - 12 weight small spools. The hand quilting I did on these sample blocks was done using the 12 weight thread. Kits Restocked!
Victoria at Midlife Quilter has restocked the Granny Plaid quilt kits due to popular demand and has also added kits for the Granny Plaid cover quilt to her listings! Supplies are limited so grab yours now because this is the last restock because some of the prints cannot be reordered at this time for her to restock for a third time.
